Your Work:
Within Stichting Kinderopvang Huizen there is a family atmosphere and we work together with great dedication and pleasure. Within the organization, you are the driving force behind the continuous updating of the quality of services and the Pedagogical approach within our organization. You do this together with your team of two educational coaches and a care coordinator that you lead. Whereas the coaches work primarily at our child care locations, as a unit manager you are primarily at the service bureau. Here you will work with various other departments and have close contact with the team managers of the child care locations. With your supervisor, the Director Director Director, you have a strong working relationship and regular consultation.
As Unit Manager of Quality & Pedagogy, you will be responsible for leading and promoting quality standards and pedagogical approaches within our (24) child care locations. You play a key role in ensuring high-quality care and promoting a stimulating environment for children’s development.
Professional accountability:
The position requires you, as Unit Manager of Quality & Pedagogy, to be responsible for adhering to, monitoring and evaluating quality guidelines, pedagogical processes and operational protocols within Stichting Kinderopvang Huizen.
The role includes reporting service quality, contributing to the pedagogical vision and implementing pedagogical policies. You will be the resource person and advisor in the pedagogical field, responsible for the care, safety and health policy and you will ensure the implementation of domestic violence and child abuse protocols. In addition, you will carry responsibility for complaint procedures and reporting and correcting accidents or dangerous situations, with a signaling role to the Director of Directors and the management team.

You take this with you:
You have HBO working and thinking level and excellent knowledge of laws and regulations within your field. In addition, you have good knowledge Pedagogy and Quality through work experience and/ or coursework.
