Developing together with peers towards elementary school
Your toddler from 2 to 4 years old can play and develop with peers. Playful preparation for elementary school, with our pedagogical staff using the Uk & Puk method. This provides basic skills and activities such as: sitting in the circle, reading aloud, singing, playing together, vocabulary and concepts and social emotional skills.
Your child’s developments are carefully monitored and recorded in a child tracking system. This serves as a guide for parent interviews and for proper transfer to the elementary school.
At the Rehoboth school
‘t Luistervinkje is located in the PCBS Rehoboth, on Studiostraat in Huizen. Good cooperation with the school ensures a through-line to grade 1. We also connect to the Christian character of the school in a playful way. If your toddler will soon go to another elementary school, a proper transfer will also take place. Children from ‘t Luistervinkje are given priority for placement at Rehoboth School.
Opening hours
As soon as there are enough applications, toddler care will open two to three days a week, in the morning from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. In the last hour, there is then cozy communal lunch with the children. Diapers, food and drink will be provided.
