• A salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Childcare, scale 6. Depending on your experience, your salary will be between €2489 and €3421 gross per month based on 36 hours per week.
• 8% vacation pay.

Your Work:

Preschool ‘t Houtwurmpje is a small-scale preschool in the heart of Holleblok. The location features modern and freshly decorated group space. Within ‘t Houtwurmpje we deploy theme-oriented activities using the learning method ‘Uk & Puk’. We also work closely with the team at BSO Marriekolf.

At ‘t Houtwurmpje, children are prepared for primary education. The children learn to sing songs and books are read aloud to encourage language development. Of course, after that it is also time to do puzzles, crafts or play in the schoolyard.

After all the playing, you eat a sandwich together at the table with something to drink. When all bellies are filled the parents come back to pick up the children. Crafts may be shown to parents and taken away.

Within the premises of the Holleblok you will also find the BSO location Marriekolf, these two vacancies can be combined together so you can work full days.

Do you have this?

• You are a “team player” and enjoy working within a close-knit team.
• You are an engaged, enthusiastic staff member with a love for children ages 2 to 4.
• You have an MBO working and thinking level and hold a diploma as a Pedagogical Assistant.
• As a Pedagogical Assistant, you have a 3F level of Dutch or you are willing to obtain it.
• You have undergone or are willing to undergo UK and PUK training through Child Care Foundation Huizen.
• You have good communication skills both oral and written.
• You have pedagogical knowledge related to the target group worked with within this location.
